Who We Are
GreenLight Metals Inc. (“GreenLight,” “we,” “us,” “our”) operates this website (the “Site”). We are a mineral exploration company based in Canada with operations in Wisconsin and Canada.
Scope
This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information on the Site. It does not apply to third-party websites or services that we do not control.
Information We Collect
Information that you provide: your name and email, if you subscribe to updates or contact us. Should you accept non-essential cookies, additional information may be collected and may be shared with third parties; see “Cookies & Your Choices” below.
Information that is automatically collected: device/browser information, IP address, geolocation information (city/region), pages viewed, search queries entered into the Site’s search function, Site interactions, and timestamps.
Some of the information we collect, including geolocation information, may be considered sensitive data under certain laws. If required under applicable law, we will collect and process sensitive personal data only with your consent. If you choose not to provide or allow us to collect some information, we may not be able to provide you with requested features, services, or information.
How We Use the Collected Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Site (including fraud/security monitoring);
- Understand usage and improve content and communications, which may include marketing communications;
- Communicate with you if you subscribe or contact us; and
- Comply with the law, enforce terms, and protect our rights.
We only collect and process information that is reasonably necessary, adequate, and relevant to achieve these purposes.
When We Share the Collected Information
We may share information with:
- Service providers (for example, hosting, security, analytics, advertising, and email delivery services) who act as our agents and on our behalf to process information on our instructions and for our purposes; and
- Professional advisors (for example, lawyers and auditors), in connection with legal obligations or business transactions.
We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that does not identify you. We do not sell your information to third parties.
International Information Transfers
We are based in Canada and may process and/or store information in Canada, the United States, and other locations. We use reasonable measures designed to protect information during transfers.
Cookies & Your Choices
Our Site uses cookies and similar technologies to operate and secure the Site, and (with your permission) to measure traffic and improve content.
Consent banner: When you first visit the Site, we will present you with a consent banner before any non-essential cookies or third-party tracking technologies are activated. Until you make a selection, no non-essential cookies will load and no data will be transmitted to third-party analytics or advertising partners. If you click “Accept” on our banner, non-essential cookies (e.g., analytics/advertising) will be activated. These cookies, if accepted, may allow third parties to collect information about you—including your Site interactions, search queries, pages viewed, and other online activities—simultaneously as you interact with the Site and in real-time as such interactions occur. This information may also include your online activities over time (such as websites or online services visited prior to or after you visited our Site) and your device used to visit our Site.
These third parties may include advertisers, ad networks, and ad servers; analytics companies; your device manufacturer; and your internet service provider. The collected information may be used to provide you with interest-based (behavioral) advertising or other targeted content; for example, you may see advertisements for us when you visit other websites after visiting our Site. We do not control these third parties’ tracking technologies or how they may be used. If you have any questions about an advertisement or other targeted content, you should contact the responsible provider directly.
Browser signals: Some browsers and browser extensions support the Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) that can send a signal to process your request to opt out from certain types of data processing. When we detect such a signal, we will make reasonable efforts to respect your choices to limit certain third-party tracking as required by applicable law.
Notice to California Residents
If you are a California resident, this section applies to you. California law, including the California Invasion of Privacy Act (“CIPA”), provides specific protections regarding electronic communications.
Consent to Real-Time Data Collection: By clicking “Accept” on our consent banner, California residents expressly consent to the use of cookies and tracking technologies as described in this policy. This includes express consent to the real-time collection and transmission of Site interactions—including search queries, pages viewed, and clicks—to our analytics and advertising partners simultaneously as such interactions occur. This consent is provided prior to any such collection or transmission taking place.
Your California Privacy Rights: Under California law, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information, including the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, the right to delete your personal information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights. To exercise these rights, please contact us at info@greenlightmetals.com.

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. These may include the right to:
- Access your personal information;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Delete your personal information;
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information;

The exact scope of these rights varies by state. To exercise any of these rights, please email info@greenlightmetals.com. There are also several exceptions where we may not have an obligation to fulfill your request. If we deny your request to exercise your privacy rights, you may appeal our decision by emailing info@greenlightmetals.com with the subject line “Privacy Rights Appeal.” We will respond to your appeal within 45 days. Retention
We retain information for as long as needed for the purposes described above, and as required by law and legitimate business needs (e.g., security, compliance, recordkeeping). We may anonymize information and retain aggregated data.
Security
Security Incidents (Canada): For our Canadian operations subject to PIPEDA, if a breach of security safeguards creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify affected individuals and report to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as required. We also keep records of all breaches of security safeguards for at least 24 months.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. However, no website or internet transmission is fully secure, and you are responsible for taking steps to protect your personal data against unauthorized use, disclosure, and access.
Children’s Privacy
Our Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can delete it.
Changes to Our Privacy Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Site or by other means, such as email, before the changes become effective. Your continued use of the Site after we post any modifications to the Privacy Policy will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to the modified Privacy Policy. The date the privacy policy was last revised is identified at the top of this page.
